Tell us about yourself.
Spending my entire professional career in sports tourism, I got my start in Florida with Polk County’s Tourism and Sports Marketing in 2006 before joining the Dallas CVB in 2010 – eventually being part of the Dallas Sports Commission launch near the end of 2014. I enjoyed an amazing 10 year run at DSC that included Super Bowl XLV, both the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Final Four, Wrestlemania 32, the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship, various college football bowl games, international soccer matches and two separate cycles of FIFA World Cup bid activity. My last event was the NHL Winter Classic before transitioning to TTS as Director of Sales & Strategic Planning at the beginning of 2020. I enjoy leveraging my experience in both sales and service as well as numerous major event local organizing committee roles ranging from corporate social responsibility projects to transportation to volunteers in order to connect with our event producer’s needs. I draw inspiration from incredible professional mentors that have taught me along the way and everything I do is for my lovely wife and four kids at home. I have a soft spot for superhero and underdog stories, always look forward to an annual golf trip with friends and still support my Fighting Illini from Texas.
