Tell us about yourself.
Josh Akright has an innate tolerance for risk and entrepreneurial spirit that first started as a preteen gathering lost golf balls and selling them to the same golfers who shanked them in the woods. The shagged golf ball business leads to business ventures in construction, hockey training, coaching, hockey tournament management, software production, co-create a wellness café concept and the most prominent of all the endeavors a premier youth sports housing management company.
Personally, Josh has a lifelong passion for anything associated with ice hockey. As a player, the game’s love started on a backyard rink in Michigan that his Dad built each winter. He rose through the USA Hockey ranks in Michigan, playing for some of the most recognizable organizations, followed by a Junior Hockey Career in the NAHL, Western Michigan University, and a minor league suitcase. Today, Josh spends most of his time training his two sons, coaching their hockey teams, and dates with his wife in a hockey rink when the boys are in the same city. The most enjoyable part is the ability to pass on our knowledge that fuels our boys and their teammate’s passion for the game.
Professionally, his goal is to secure partnerships with like-minded people that love being part of a team, operate with integrity, and believe in providing the best experience for their customers.

What is your favorite memory of working at TTS?
The collaboration between TTS leadership to implement and execute a plan to onboard my customers who were left in a really terrible situation and turn it into an incredible experience that had positive impact on their businesses.
What is the best thing about working at TTS?
The people! Having incredible teammates who are passionate about what they do and serving our customers to the best of their ability.
Which core value is your personal favorite and why?
Integrity. Seems simple but incredibly difficult for so many people. TTS words are genuine and our actions support it.
To make the world a better place we should...
Covid extinction! My boys live harmoniously together and stop fighting and antagonizing each other!
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my family, coaching my boys in Hockey and Lacrosse, playing sports with them recreationally, fishing, golfing, camping, boating, vegetable gardening, and dates with my wife.
