Director of People Operations & Chicken Lady

Tell us about yourself.

Currently, I am the Director of People Ops at TTS. From onboarding, to employee engagement, to HR and more, it is always an honor to assist our owners and a privilege to work so closely with them and our leadership team. I didn’t start in this position though – I worked and wiggled my way up and through almost every department here at TTS over the past years (not kidding… I’ve been an Account Manager, Team Experience, Customer Service, assisted in Hotel Relations and more), and I’ve loved every step of the journey! Learning something new is a constant craving of mine, and TTS has given me the room and opportunity to do just that.

I grew up in the sports world – I cheered competitively for years and played both soccer and lacrosse as a kid. I was consistently involved in sports and learned the value it holds in shaping and building character from a young age. Having my hands in sports now through TTS as an adult brings me joy and a sense of ‘giving back’ to the event producers and coaches that invested in me as a kid.

When I’m not at the office, you can find me with my family (a spontaneous husband and outdoorsy kids) and friends either relaxing or adventuring!

Which core value is your personal favorite and why?

Work/Life Balance. This core value means everything to me, especially after having kids. Having the ability to be “all in” and love my work when at the office and also be “all in” and fully present at home with my family aligns with my personal values. Work hard, play hard has always been a motto of mine, and not only am I able to live that out at Team Travel Source, but they encourage it.

To make the world a better place we should...

Forgive always, be quick to listen and slow to speak.
