Exemptions
PLEASE NOTE: EXEMPTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON UNTIL THE EVENT YOU ARE SUBMITTING FOR IS OPEN. Any Submissions prior to the opening dates of the events will be disregarded.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT EXEMPTIONS: 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
Full Service Housing Required events require athletes to stay in partner hotel blocks. There are three exceptions to this requirement. Before submitting an exemption, please review the specific details explained below.
USING POINTS FOR A FREE ROOM
If you have enough points to redeem them for an entirely FREE stay, you are allowed to do so. Please book the room through the hotel directly and upload a copy of your reservation showing that points were used to book your entire stay to the online form below. Please make sure to list the athletes name on your email so they are an approved exemption. Please note that just ‘receiving points’ for staying at a hotel does not qualify for an exemption. You must be redeeming for an entire free stay.
LIVING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY
GYMS WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY:
2-Day competitors within 75 miles and 1 day competitors within 150 miles from the competition are automatically considered LOCAL and do not require an exemption form to be filled out.
INDIVIDUALS WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY:
If your home is within the designated radius but your gym is outside of that radius, please fill out the exemption form.
MILITARY/GOVERNMENT DISCOUNT
If you are able to get a lower rate with a military or government discount, this will be accepted. Please book the room through the hotel directly and upload a copy of your reservation showing that a military/government discount was used to book your entire stay to the online form above. Please note, the hotel will require the military or government ID to be presented upon check-in, please have this information when you arrive.
